This bent Dublin from Claudio Cavicchi showcases the Italian artisan's mastery of line and form. In typical Italian neoclassical style, the bowl here holds most of the visual weight within the composition, its towering height and muscular build overshadowing the slender shank-and-stem arrangement. The bowl boasts thick insulating walls that fill the hand with substance and house a respectably deep chamber. A handsome honey-blonde stain dresses the stummel and highlights tight tendrils of flame grain that rise in concert with the bowl's flare and terminate at a broad rim populated with birdseye.
