Italian Estates: Aldo Velani 21 Century Sandblasted Bent Panel (442) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-42517

Aldo Velani pipes are made in Livorno, Italy, by Cesare Barontini, the Italian carver creating pipes with muscular proportions that exude classic Italian charm. This Panel is a striking take on the classic shape, with a full-bodied bowl that's balanced by a unique combination of shank and stem. In most Panel renditions, the shank is square, but here, it starts as a compressed oval and flares into a paneled orientation at the end. A sextet of firm panels rounds the bowl here, its walls offering plenty of substance to appreciate and ample space to showcase the stummel's dark sandblast: contrasted well by a pale accent at the base of the stem.
