Hugo International Series (H.I.S) is a seconds line from Italian marque Gardesana, and presents us with this reserved bent Dublin rendition. Dressed in a medium-depth sandblast, and treated with a dark, inky stain, the stummel presents bands of radiating, vertically oriented growth rings that ripple from fore to aft. The shank and stem lift out of a tight transition, its trajectory matching the muscular look of the heel and offering a comfortable smoking posture.
