This Pot by Posella is an Italian neoclassical take on the traditional form, complete with a stocky, full-bodied bowl that overshadows a gently tapered shank and a slender saddle stem. Said bowl stands atop a rounded heel and grows thick, insulating walls that subtly flare upward to a broad, softly inflated rim. The bowl's subtle expansion lends the shape's walls a gentle curvature that conforms naturally to the hand. Dressing this piece is a chestnut smooth finish that highlights healthy grain across the briar's surface.
