Ascorti's Christmas pipe for 2011, this bent Bulldog is an unusual design, one with a broad, squat bowl, a flat, paneled fore, a long, boxy shank, and a demurely curved saddle stem. A crisp rustication dresses the stummel and lends a wealth of engaging texture to the composition, save for the rim and parts of the shank, which are left smooth for contrast.
