Made by Cesare Barontini in Livorno, Italy, Aldo Velani pipes are characterized by their distinctively Italian character, replete with muscular proportions and stylish shaping. This bent Billiard from Aldo Velani features a striking combination of soft curves and firm ridgelines. The bowl stands tall at the fore of the composition, its supple walls arcing gently as they rise from heel to rim. A crisp diamond shank lifts from the bowl out back and pairs to a bent saddle stem, the junction between the two adorned with a dual-colored metallic band for a stylish touch. Dressed in a smooth, auburn finish, the stummel displays handsome grain across both flanks.
