DiMonte pipes are the brainchild of Mel Rosenberger, the son of Ludwig Rosenberger who, in the 1940s, revitalized the Arlington brand of pipes in the United States. This Rhodesian is a handsome example of the brand's work, with a robust bowl standing at the fore of a gently curving shank-and-stem combination. Said bowl stands on a rounded heel and expands to a high-set waist marked with a firm ridge, additionally denoting the form's swift taper to the rim. Dressed in a warm smooth finish and rich, ruby-tinged stain, the stummel showcases handsome grain, with an accent band at the junction offering some lovely contrast.
