Brebbia's "831" bent Brandy renders the form with a touch of muscular substance about its build and a languid bend, making for a pipe that's sure to offer both a comfortable smoking posture and a snug fit in hand. The bowl's supple walls rise from the broad, plump base and gradually taper to the flat rim, with a low-slung transition out back giving way to a balanced shank and gingerly downturned tapered stem, the latter of which is adorned with a light hardwood accent at its base. Italian for "walnut," the marque's smooth Noce finish dresses the stummel here in a rich stain, revealing handsome grain across the briar's surface.
