Although Davide Iafisco is an Italian pipe maker, his style moves away from traditional Italian aesthetics, instead aligning more with the Danish school of design. Although, this particular billiard is a traditionally inclined and balanced rendition. The bowl sits tall and upright, formed by walls that stretch from a round heel to a flat rim, creating a form that sits nicely in the hand. The shank is low-set, emphasizing the bowl's height, and capped with an accent of genuine horn. The stummel is dressed in a ruby-hued contrast stain, highlighting intricate growth rings all up the bowl, with similar hues seen in the cumberland mouthpiece out back.
