For over a decade, Graziano Tendi has been crafting pipes that combine vintage flair with Italian neoclassical style. Tendi got his start in the industry as a teenager, eventually restoring pipes he purchased from flea markets and putting his own spin on them. This Billiard from Graziano Tendi adds a pop of shine to a classic design by way of a metallic accent band at the junction. Up front, the bowl follows the classic cylindrical silhouette, its walls rising to meet a flat rim that looks into a modest tobacco chamber. From a ninety-degree transition, a rounded shank extends before quickly meeting the aforementioned band and joining a vulcanite stem on the other side. The mouthpiece boasts hues of black and green, with these hues adding contrast to the organic sandblast along the stummel.
