Translating to "The Clouds," Le Nuvole was founded by Maurizio Tombari in 1996, the line offering artisan pipes both traditional and extravagant. Having formerly worked with prolific Pesaro workshops such as Mastro De Paja and Ser Jacopo, Tombari has a wealth of experience in pipe making. This bent Dublin by Le Nuvole boasts a fluid outline, with a demurely curved aft that's visually enticing and promotes a comfortable smoking posture. Said aft consists of a trim shank and a gently arced tapered stem, with these two elements supporting the tall, flared bowl that heads the pipe. Dressing this piece is a crisp, jet-black sandblast that highlights rugged growth rings intersected by strands of vertical grain.
