Italian Estates: Caminetto Rusticated Bent Billiard (8.L.10) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-43228
In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Billiard by Caminetto features a tall, full-bodied bowl composed of thick, insulating walls that conceal a capacious tobacco chamber. Said bowl is paired to a trim oval shank and a demurely curved tapered stem, the latter of which promotes a comfortable smoking posture. Dressing this piece is a crisp rustication that lends a wealth of craggy texture to the stummel.
