Italian Estates: Ser Jacopo Smooth Bent Panel (L2) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-43308
Founded in 1982, Ser Jacopo is now one of the most influential and iconic pipe brands throughout Italy. Founded by Giancarlo Guidi, this workshop is responsible for creating Pesaro shaping and working with high-quality briar to create whimsical and flamboyant pieces that lean heavily into the classic Italian style. Keeping with traditional Italian designs, this "L2" bent Panel from Ser Jacopo maintains hefty proportions, particularly along the fore, where the bowl draws the attention. Beginning at the button of the acrylic stem, this pipe's sweeping momentum continues down the underside to the heel, where thick walls rise with a slight forward urge. Nestled inside the bowl lives a capacious tobacco chamber, ideal for lengthy smoking sessions. The flat rim slopes down the aft of the bowl, greeting a tight transition that gives way to the arcing shank and aforementioned stem. Dressed in a smooth hazelnut finish, the stummel showcases handsome vertical grain on the flanks and patches of birdseye on the rim.
