For more than 70 years, Castello has been consistently crafting pipes from high-quality briar into beautifully shaped and finished smoking instruments that are equally prized for their looks. This straight Billiard is a fine example of Italian neoclassical design, with the sturdy bowl offering a palm-filling presence and plenty of chamber capacity. Its robust aesthetic looms large over the far more slender shank-and-stem arrangement, the proportions offering a visual juxtaposition of sorts. The jet-black acrylic mount configuration includes an elegantly tapered push-style stem, enabling the pipe to easily be broken down. The stummel of this piece is dressed in the Collection finish, highlighting beautiful birdseye dotting the rim and heel, while fiery licks of flame engulf the remainder of the bowl.
