Italian Estates: Castello Collection Great Line Bent Dublin (F) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-006-43577
From the mind of Italian artisan Carlo Scotti, Castello was founded in 1947 to offer handmade pipes that exude quality in both form and function. Working together with Luigi Radice and Peppino Ascorti, the three would serve as key innovators in defining Italian neoclassical pipe design. A striking showcase of the Italian marque's neoclassic style, this bent Dublin is an esteemed member of the Italian workshop's Collection Great Line. The bowl boasts a chamber depth of two inches, insulated by walls that flare out from a round heel to a plateau-crowned rim. An angled transition grants the pipe an active posture and poises it for a comfortable smoking position. From said transition, a sturdy shank lifts from the bowl and pairs to a demurely bent stem that tapers expressively to the button. Dressing the stummel is a dark mahogany stain that showcases flame grain rising along the bowl.
