This Dublin from Claudio Cavicchi puts a unique spin on the classic silhouette. While the softly bent shank-and-stem combination remains fairly traditional the bowl displays a distinctive difference from the shape-chart standard. The insulated walls rise and flare from a subtly lifted heel to the rim that is elegantly asymmetrical, its flanks rising and falling like a ripple in water. Nestled inside the bowl is a capacious tobacco chamber, making this an ideal option for lengthy smoking sessions.The stummel is dressed in a vivid, honey-blonde stain and with some stunning, consistent straight grain around the bowl, has earned a three C grade from Cavicchi.
