This Billiard from Claudio Cavicchi is a muscular rendition of the classic shape, with most of the visual weight being drawn to its fore. The insulated walls of the bowl rise from a firm heel to a flat rim, forming a silhouette slightly plumper than more classic Billiards. Out back, a broad transition gives way to a gradually tapering shank-and-stem arrangement; the inky hue of the acrylic mouthpiece pairing well to the sandblasted stummel, which showcases impressive growth rings throughout.
