This Apple from La Rocca combines traditional shaping with modern aesthetics to create a piece that would diversify any collection. Up front, the walls of the plump bowl rise from a full-bodied heel and taper inward to the rim. A broad transition gives way to a rounded shank that quickly connects to the yellow swirling hues of the acrylic stem. Said stem tapers to the bit as it takes up the majority of the aft's visual weight, its contemporary pigment adding contrast to the ruby-tinged sandblasted stummel.
