A muscular interpretation of the classic Apple shape, this piece from Lucca boasts a stocky bowl with a Pot-like breadth and plenty of in-hand heft. A wide transition follows said bowl and marks the start of a trim shank that tapers into a slim mouthpiece, slenderizing the aft of the composition and focusing attention to the brawny fore. A crisp, ruby-tinged sandblast completes the ensemble and draws out rugged grain across the stummel.
