Italian Estates: Castello Old Antiquari Rusticated Canadian (KKKK) (32) (1970s-1982) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-44232

Founded by Carlo Scotti in 1947, Castello is recognized by some enthusiasts for being one of the first Italian brands to separate from the conventional English and French shaping standards. All of their pipes are individually shaped by a small team of artisans who focus on quality in both form and function. A handsome vintage pipe from Castello, this lengthy, lithe Canadian features a tall, solid Billiard bowl and seamless stretch of shank and stem. The finish and shaping on this 1970s-1980s pipe is something to behold. Dressed in the Italian marque's craggy, earthy-toned Old Antiquari rustication, it also displays a "fumed" or darkened rim, lending it a weathered, broken-in disposition, matching the coloring of the elegantly tapered shank.
