Italian Estates: Radice Smooth Rhodesian with Silver (Pease/DiPiazza) (016/100) (2010) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-44126

In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. Made in collaboration with G.L. Pease and Luca di Piazza, this pipe is number 16 of 100 made in Radice's esteemed workshop. A plump Rhodesian, this piece is a robust rendition of the classic shape. The curvaceous bowl features a tapered rim and beadline characteristic of the Rhodesian, paired to a jutting heel and muscular shank accented with an eye-catching silver band. A tapered acrylic stem completes the ensemble, offering comfortable clenching. Dressed in a light blonde stain, the stummel boasts plenty of sweeping flame grain around the bowl.
