Dated back to 1911, the Ardor marque is a long-lasting family business that was re-established in 1974 by the father-son duo Angelo and Dorelio Rovero. After Angelo's passing in 1999, Dorelio took over the business alongside Damino and Dimitri, the next generation of Rovera craftsmen. A rather reserved piece from Ardor, this classically inclined Billiard is a fine example of the Italian marque's versatility. Thoroughly Italian in execution, the jutting heel, straight-walled bowl, and muscular round shank all speak to the peninsular neoclassic style. A tapered acrylic stem rounds out the composition, lending a sense of balance to the overall form. Dressed in Ardor's smooth Marte finish, the stummel boasts fine flame grain around the bowl, for an elegant and timeless aesthetic.
