Italian Estates: Il Ceppo Sandblasted Cherrywood with Silver (1) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-44243

Founded in 1978 by Giorgio Imperatori, the Il Ceppo workshop originated from the Pesaro school of pipe design. This Cherrywood is a great example of Pesaro shaping, as it diverges from any shape-chart standard to form its own unique silhouette. Up front, the cylindrical bowl is dramatically canted forward as its walls rise from a flat heel to a slanted rim that looks into a respectable tobacco chamber. A broad transition gives way to an abbreviated shank that quickly meets a silver-capped junction. A sleek and lengthy white accent brings up the rear as it connects to a petite acrylic stem. The black and white hues of the aft juxtapose the organic bowl, sandblasted to reveal impressive growth rings.
