Italian Estates: Becker Sandblasted Bent Dublin (NASPC) (Two Clubs) (2003) (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-006-44789

Founded by Fritz Becker and his son Paolo, Becker pipes was established in 1974. Going against Italian neoclassical style, Becker pipes are typically seen with more elegant profiles and functional shaping, as opposed to the whimsical and flamboyant offerings produced by other brands. This bent Dublin, however, does lean a bit more into the Italian style than other shapes from Becker. Up front, the walls of the bowl rise and flare from a pointed heel to a subtly domed rim. The palm-filling bowl houses a respectable tobacco chamber, ensuring you don't sacrifice any smoking time with this pipe. A tight transition gives way to an oval shank-and-stem combination that gradually tapers and bends to the bit. The jet-black vulcanite mouthpiece is accented by twin bands of briar at its base, their hue slightly lighter than the sandblasted briar of the stummel. Said sandblast showcases healthy growth rings throughout, while carved flutes along the bowl's fore provide ample texture to enjoy.
