In the late 1960s, two Castello pipe makers, Giuseppe Ascorti and Luigi Radice, left to found their own workshop, Caminetto. Their skilled craftsmanship grew Caminetto into one of the most popular marques of the 1970s and beyond. This bent Billiard is a fine example of the Italian marque's usual style, featuring a traditional embellished with a substantial bowl. Said overshadows the comparatively lean shank-and-stem arrangement and possesses thick walls that surround a capacious tobacco chamber. A ruby-hued smooth finish completes the ensemble and highlights a wealth of attractive grain.
