Italian Estates: Lorenzetti Julius Caesar Smooth Bent Apple (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

Otello Lorenzetti founded his small workshop in 1934, personally making pipes by hand with simple tools. Eventually, the Italian craftsman built the machines necessary to increase production and slowly grew the workshop to distribute pipes worldwide. This bent Apple is a demurely curved take on the shape whose understated curvature makes for both comfortable smoking and an elegant look, its wide transition pairing the bowl to a lifting shank and a subtly arcing stem of black acrylic. Up front, the bowl stands on a rounded heel and grows thick, supple walls that offer plenty of contours to appreciate in hand. Dressed in a warm, deep stain, the stummel showcases handsome grain throughout, with lighter wood accents at the shank end and stem base offering contrast.
