Japanese Estates: Tsuge Tokyo Sandblasted Cherrywood with Bamboo (551) (Unsmoked)
Product Number: 004-007-0470
Though the Tokyo line is defined by their use of bamboo shanks and slender push-style stems, another common feature is that most of the shapes available within it are sitters. The "551" is the most simple and direct variation, being essentially a more organic and distinctly Japanese take on the classic Cherrywood. The tall bowl of this design allows for a pretty deep chamber, and, in this particular case, lots of fine ring grain as well.
