Japanese Estates: Tsuge Smooth Metal Tankard Tobacco Pipe

Though trim and spare in form, the style of this Tsuge could hardly be called minimalist or spartan. Modern is another matter, however - there's a definite Art Deco thing going on with the designs of the Metal series in general. Clean, cool brushed or anodized aluminum accents are supplied in generous quantities amongst the series, in this case cladding both the rim and base of the bowl, and serving as the material for a "Don" style army mount. And lean and lightly proportioned as this Tankard may be, it still provides plenty chamber depth-wise, and sits as surely as any stout, straight Pot.
