Handmade at the Tsuge workshop, this Yamato bent Billiard from the esteemed marque is a wonderful example of their minimalist shaping style and understated approach to traditional forms. The bowl is stout and robust, and the saddle stem's gentle downturn offers excellent balance for hands-free smoking. The grain the surrounds the bowl is superb, with tight tendrils of vertical grain wrapping around the flanks beneath the warm walnut stain. A wonderful opportunity to acquire a quality, handmade pipe at a reasonable price point.
