Though not the traditional bent Bulldog, this "426" from Japanese marque Tsuge is full of modern charm, presenting with a strikingly sinuous stretch of shank and stem that lift and taper out of a tight transition. This combination maintains the classic diamond shape that's iconic to the profile, though its added verticality here lends the profile a lovely bit of dynamism. Up front, the bowl is supple and rounded, carved with a single crisp beadline just below its tapering rim, the stummel showcasing plenty of handsome grain beneath its warm stain.
