Misc. Estates: John Calich Partially Rusticated Bent Apple (8) (1987)

Product Number: 004-008-2106

Though he was active as a pipemaker for over four decades, the late John Calich seems to have never gone in for sandblasting. When smooth briar wouldn't do, he instead favored a rustication similar in style to that used by Brigham or Sasieni. That's what we find on this Calich, in a shape that both sits well and well arranged and contoured in hand.
