Misc. Estates: Konstantin Shekita Smooth Dublin (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-2117

Konstantin Shekita is known for his wild freehands and innovative finishes and textures (such as the intricate "Lattice" briars), but I am usually drawn towards his more classic shapes. It is easy to see the influence of fellow Ukrainian and Russian artisans in his work, but this reserved Dublin seems to draw a bit from the Danish school with its soft heel, broad and gently-domed rim, and squat, oval shank that is paneled on either of its flanks. Overall, this is an attractive take on the classic shape that is compact, beautifully grained, and has a chamber that is narrow and not too deep, making it ideal for folding and stuffing some of your favorite flake.
