Most likely one of Roman Kovalev's earlier pieces, this straight Billiard is much more reserved and classical than many of the chubbier, buddha bamboo-infused pieces we've seen from him recently. Just trim lines, plump curves, and smart distribution of visual weight, sans any accents or alternative mediums. The sandblast is quite nice, unearthing a very tight display of flame and smouldering ring grain around the bowl. Great condition.
