Misc. Estates: Konstantinos Anastasopoulos Mitos Freehand with Sandblasted Bamboo (33) (2013)

Product Number: 004-008-5388

Sandblasted bamboo is not an entirely new concept, but it's certainly not something you see every day, even in the often avant-garde realm of artisanal pipe making. The first example of the style I remember seeing is Adam Davidson's Witch's Finger several years back, but the concept has been adapted by a few other pipe makers over the years as well. Still, pieces like this just don't turn up that often, and this freehand from Anastasopoulos is certainly one that commands attention. Condition is excellent.
