Rattray's describes this bent Acorn design as "small, elegant and real featherweights". Well, while I'll certainly agree on the elegant part, the small and featherweight description calls to my mind those sort of briars that are so dainty that you find yourself instinctively handling them with just your fingertips. Though a slim and lovely shape, this design nonetheless offers enough substance for a surer grip, while the short shank and creamy horn mount ensure it will readily handle a bit of occasional roughness (or sheer clumsiness) just fine. Unsmoked, here.
