Misc. Estates: Geiger Partially Sandblasted Drunken Bent Dubliner Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-5648

Sara Mossberg and Love Geiger have consistently crafted some truly magnificent and complex shapes over the years, including ones like this Drunken Bent Dublin. They managed to incorporate the perfect amount of asymmetry into this piece; it's not exactly subtle, but also not overly exaggerated either. Its oval, strongly tapered bowl slightly tilts on its axis to the right, terminating at its slanted heel that's also been pushed to the right. Those elements all combine to give this piece its tipsy disposition and highlights the whimsical, yet precise work the Geiger's are known for. Just as noteworthy as the exciting shaping is the grain on display here. The broad, smooth polished rim is populated with birdseye, highlighted by a lovely chestnut stain. It complements the warm tones of the rest of the sandblasted stummel, showcasing an immaculate display of ring grain and offers plenty of crisp texture to enjoy in hand.
