Originally from Belgium but currently carving pipes in Spain, Dirk Claessen offers a variety of organically inspired and classic designs, with this Billiard being a fairly traditional interpretation. What makes this particular rendition stand out is the thick shank features reverse Calabash engineering within, allowing for a cooler, drier smoke as it collects any extra moisture that develops during your smoking sessions. The upright bowl continues the shank's robustness and is finished in a texturally intriguing sandblast with waves of ripping grain cascading down the flanks.
