Misc. Estates: Unknown Smooth Freehand Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-008-5869
It's a shame that there's no way to identify the maker of this pipe since there's no discernible stamping on it, but whoever made this piece certainly has a keen eye for line work and subtle details. A ridgeline wraps around the bowl's midsection, creating a visual illusion that makes it look like two bowls are stacked on top of each other. A similar ridgeline can be found along the shank, just after the transition before terminating at the shank face that features a small kiss of plateau. It you're a fan of eccentric pipe designs or elaborate Freehands in general, this one's worthy of consideration.
