Misc. Estates: Unknown Antique Meerschaum Cutty with Amber Stem (with Case) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-6218

Quite the exciting, vintage find, this meerschaum Cutty was likely made around the year 1900, potentially earlier. It's still intact, coming complete with the original case and a stem of genuine amber, fitted via a threaded tenon. Shape-wise, the Cutty is one of the oldest pipe forms, appropriate for such an old piece and marked by the canted bowl and foot under the transition. This is a piece for antique collectors, and it should be noted that amber is more delicate than acrylic or vulcanite, so avoid clenching this piece hands-free and keep the stem out of direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
