Tall and robust throughout its build, this Bulldog from HS Studio is a strikingly angular interpretation of the classic shape. The shank and stem showcase the diamond shank and stem that we're used to seeing from this timless profile, though this combination tapers out from its wide transition, keeping the aft section of the piece rather sleek. What draws the eye immediately though, is the bowl, its fore wall urging forward swiftly to give the impression of plenty of momentum, with its high waist tapering to a domed rim, the walls of the bowl excellent canvases to showcase a shallow, walnut-hued sandblast.
