Belgian pipe maker Dirk Claessen seeks to craft quality pipes at affordable prices, a goal he's accomplished handily in this charming Billiard. Displaying a keen sense of proportion, the stout bowl features a jutting heel and cheeked transition to a slim round shank accented with spalted hardwood. A jet-black vulcanite stem rounds out the composition, allowing the pipe to be easily clenched. Dressed in a crisp rustication, the stummel is stained a deep walnut hue and offers plenty of texture for the fingers to explore.
