Misc. Estates: Julius Vesz Partially Rusticated Bent Dublin with Bamboo (3) (33)
Product Number: 004-008-6823
Originally from Hungary and currently based out of Toronto, Julius Vesz got his first introduction to pipe making through his grandfather who was a pipe maker himself. Judging from this piece, Vesz takes the Dunhill approach to bamboo as a rule: big, stout stuff, with brass pins helping ensure it remains securely in place. This bent Dublin is an excellent example of that approach, slightly Danish in overall shaping cues with a bit of added color in the form of two acrylic accent rings where the bamboo meets the bowl.- Andrew Wike
