Misc. Estates: Daniel Mustran Smooth Bent Brandy with Antler (2018) Tobacco Pipe

I wouldn't call this bent Brandy from Daniel Mustran a particularly "classic" rendition, yet it's one of the more traditional designs I've seen from the Croatian artisan. Many of his pieces are highly flourishing and marked by stylish shaping cues. By contrast, this piece remains symmetrical and rather reserved, perfect for fans of shape-chart standards who also appreciate the subtle nuances of handmade renditions. Here, those nuances are evident in the bowl's forward-urging posture and slender shaping compared to the stout, abbreviated shank, as well as the vivid color palette of the brindled vulcanite stem and use of an antler accent.
