HS Studio presents us with this striking bent Billiard rendition, a traditionally inclined shape that features some handsome curvature to its profile. From the stem to the rim, this piece is quite fluid, flowing with a languid undercurve that matches the ebb of the top of the pipe quite well. The sharp transition combines with the aforementioned elements to urge the bowl forward a bit, with a momentum that is gentle but palpable and adds some welcome dynamism to the composition. The stummel is dressed in an incredibly distinctive rustication made up of curving trenches of carved briar, each striated with a myriad of additional lines as they curve around the stummel.
