Misc. Estates: Blatter Rusticated Canted Dublin Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-008-8291
The Blatter family began making pipes in London in the late 1890s, then moved to South Africa before a final move to Montreal in 1907. Each move opened a new tobacco shop for pipes and cigars, and each Blatter pipe is hand carved. It's fun to research the company's rich history, then gaze at this pipe and think about the company's lengthy background. It's rare to find an establishment of such age staying in the family, and each piece they produce is part of that ongoing legacy. This Dublin continues that tradition wonderfully, marked by a conservative upward flare and dramatic forward cant, all dressed in a dark, craggy, traditional rustication.
