Originally from Greece, Phillip Trypis has carved pipes for decades, now making them at his workshop in Canada. This Acorn is a rugged interpretation of the classic shape, with a semi-paneled bowl resting pertly on a defined heel at the fore a balanced round shank equipped with a vulcanite saddle stem for easy clenching. Dressed in a rugged black rustication, the bowl offers plenty of texture and a woodsy, alpine, aesthetic.
