Misc. Estates: Feng Yutong Zhou Smooth Knife Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-8563

This Knife from Feng Yutong Zhou bears a striking resemblance to the Horn-shape, what with its pronounced curvature and gentle taper from rim to shank end. However, while most Horn shapes tend to have a tapered stem, further accentuating the form's stretched taper, this piece possesses an angular mouthpiece that's vertically compressed and wrapped by pronounced ridgelines. The stem's build and pointed lines explain the shape's name, as the mouthpiece brings to mind a blade, with the bit acting as its point. It's a handsome shape and quite unique, and it's presented in a stylish smooth finish that highlights some lovely grain all around.
