Misc. Estates: Konstantinos Anastasopoulos Mitos Acorn (3814) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 004-008-8766

Greek carver Konstantinos Anastasopoulos has an extensive background in art and graphic design, which are both evident in this angular and stylish Acorn. The pert bowl rests at the fore of a wide-flared shank and pinched transition, with a pointed spur at the heel and shank face lending this piece some dynamic motion, as well as great resting place for the fingers. Out back a vulcanite saddle stem offers a comfortable smoking posture, with a section of rustication directly on the stem that mirrors the crisp texture of the lower half of the stummel. The upper bowl is finished in a smooth walnut stain, while the rest is rusticated, saved for raised ridges that runs the length of the undercarriage, creating the aforementioned spurs and angles. A finely crafted and designed piece, the briar is also quite impressive, boasting fine flame grain all around the bowl.
