Misc. Estates: Alexander Nepokoychitskiy Smooth Bent Brandy with Zebrawood (Unsmoked) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 004-008-9553
Alexander Nepokoychitskiy spent his youth building model airplanes, developing an interest in crafting with wood, metal, and other materials. The interest in airplanes continued as Nepokoychitskiy went on to study at Moscow's Aviation Institute of Technology, afterwards taking up pipe making as a hobby that eventually turned into a passion. This bent Brandy showcases Alexander's style, offering a distinctive silhouette that's equal parts structural and curvaceous. Shape-wise, this piece sees a plump, full-bodied bowl paired to a sweeping shank that's a reuleaux triangle in cross section. Firm ridgelines cover the shank's sides, their architectural appearane offering pleasing contrast to the rest of the shape's supple contours. Measuring less than five inches in total length, this piece is incredibly compact, making it perfect for on-the-go smoking. A smoky smooth finish dresses the stummel and highlights brillant flame grain across the briar's flanks, while an accent of zebrawood adorns the shank end and lends a touch of contrasting warmth to the pipe's otherwise reserved palette.
