About This Pipe
Hilson was a Belgian pipe manufacturer, but I'm 99.9% sure this pipe was made by Stanwell. Hilson must have subcontracted some of what bore their name because this bent pot shape is just too familiar. The graining on the bowl is a bit of a mix of cross cut grain and bird's eye, nice, but nothing to write home about. The shaping and engineering; however, are first rate.
